AlphaGo is an AI that was designed by Google DeepMind to play the game of Go. The program made history in March 2016 when it became the first computer program to beat a professional human player at the full-sized game of Go.

IBM’s Deep Blue

Deep Blue was the first computer to beat the world champion of chess. After a several-day match in 1997, Deep Blue won by a score of 3.5 to 2.5.

While Deep Blue was only able to beat the reigning world chess champion, Garry Kasparov, it did show that AI was progressing and could beat humans at complex strategic games.

Reactive Machines For Business

Businesses can use Reactive AI in a number of ways. While this level of AI is not as advanced as the other types, it can still be used to give your business a competitive edge.

Customer service chatbots can be linked to your company’s service database answering simple to more complex questions depending on the customer input. Identifying particular irregularities in data is another useful reactive AI function.

Limited Memory AI

Limited Memory refers to storing previous data and/or predictions, using that data to make better predictions. How this works is the AI will remember past inputs and outputs to better predict what the output should be for a given input.
